ABOUT ME
My first experience in the nonprofit world was as a volunteer with the Center for Sustainable Social Impact. I partnered with other nonprofits helping them with management and strategy development. Using design thinking methodology, CfSSI listened to their stories and core issues, then developed a plan for resolution. When working on a project, I bring the creative and business sides together for actionable solutions.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I have managed teams of visual designers, UX designers, illustrators, and vendors to make beautiful and functional educational materials for all ages and abilities. On my largest project, I managed over 125 freelance illustrators, designers, photographers, and photo researchers in 4 different countries. I worked with developers to take printed materials into an html5 format.
WHAT I DO
Making digital haves from digital have-nots, whether finding innovative ways to engage a learner or making 508 compliant, I know collaboration is key. Even the toughest jobs can be fun if we work together. I build an environment where creativity is respected, innovation is expected, and where we can get down to business.
